I made this photograph in a completely dark room by using a long exposure and lightpainting the subject with a small flashlight. The picture is emotionally meaningful to me, as the bouquet of white roses was brought to our family reunion in memory of the three family members who were missing. The linen and dish were my mother€šÃ„ôs; and the table sat beside her chair where she used it daily to place her Bible. Precious memories...
